After the Facebook’s virtual assistant ‘M’, Facebook is now challenging Snapchat. Facebook is soon going to add up a new feature in its mobile messenger app ‘Facebook vanishing Message’ that allows the users to send the messages that disappear an hour after they are sent.
On thursday, Facebook conducted Vanishing message test in France. Users in France were able to send vanishing missives from their smartphones.

“We’re conducting a small test in France of a feature that allows people to send messages that disappear an hour after they’re sent,” Facebook told AFP.

Facebook will add up an hourglass icon on the top right of the Messenger’s screen, tapping on which you could send Facebook Vanishing Message But before the launch, the feature would be tested on different versions of messenger applications and on different platforms. If all tests prove to be successful, the feature would likely be made available in other countries also.

Facebook Vanishing Message: A challenge to Snapchat

Facebook Vanishing message feature can prove to be a direct challenge to Snapchat, Los Angeles based Snapchat gained its popularity in USA especially among the teenagers, after the first app was released in September 2011. Snapchat also rejected the $ 3 Billion takeover offer by Facebook in 2013.

Facebook earlier this year has tested the Messenger app virtual assistant. According to Facebook ‘M‘ goes beyond the Artificial Intelligence.
