According to the recent reports the TalkTalk data breach puts the bank details and PIIs of millions of customers at risk which also includes the sensitive information of many customers: 21,000 Bank Accounts, 28,000 obscured credit and debit card details, and all the personal information right from name to phone number of around 1.2 million customers.

The company has already confessed that all the data was not encrypted, it is the enough reason for the customers of TalkTalk for not trusting the company anymore.

However the company is trying its best to ensure its customers that their accounts are safe, “Investigations so far show that the information that may have been accessed is not enough on its own to take money from your bank account,” the company said in its protection and ensuring its customers. TalkTalk also said in a statement “Investigations so far show that the information that may have been accessed is not enough on its own to take money from your bank account.”

The advice for TalkTalk customers is again the same: Change your passwords immediately and keep an eye on your bank accounts.
