The Wove. It is the very first product from the flexible electronics company polyera. It is something like smart watch, but has much more abilities than a smart watch. One of its ability is to curve and bend. Wove has flexible and bendable touchscreen that can wrap around your wrist. This technology could open up new ways to make the displays that are flexible and bendable like paper without damaging the display.
The company Polyera was co-founded by Phil Inagaki about 10 years ago. But the company came up with Wove about two and half years ago. The band is made by the Polyera’s patented Digital fabric Technology. From the very beginning of the company, Digital fabric Technology has been developing the flexible transistors and displays.

About Wove
The display used in Wove similar to that of Kindle, it has 1040 X 200 pixel multi touch screen display that uses E-ink technology. The Wove also offers you the multi-tasking that means you can run several apps on your band at a time.
Wove OS
The company has also introduces the Wove OS in its device. It is an Android based operating system that connects your smartphone over Bluetooth 4.0. Polyera has opened up the Wove OS to allow the developers to begin the development of the applications for its first prototype. The first edition is expected to go out to consumers in mid-2016.
Polyera is also working with some big application developers to develop the apps for Wove OS. The price of the band is not yet announced but it is expected that the cost will be low as compared to the least-expensive Apple Watch.
