Qualcomm finally updates it mid-range Snapdragon 400 and 600 lineup processor, the first update announced Snapdragon 617 processor, which not more different than 615 processor.The new Snapdragon 617 processor comes with X8 LTE Cat. 7 integrated moderm with 300Mbps DL (Download) and 100Mbps UL (Upload) support and also supports carrier aggregation up to 2×20 Mhz. Snapdragon 617 is an Octa Core processor configuration with Cortex A53s clocked up to 1.5 GHx (8x ARM Cortax A53).

Snapdragon 617 supports Encoding and Decoding upto 1080p H.2634 and 1080p60 HEVC. The Dual-ISP s powered supports photos upto 21MP.The other higher 600 linup Soc have some different specification like Snapdeagon 618 Hexa Core processor with 4x Cortex A53 @1.2GHz and 2x Cortex A72 @1.8 GHz with 2x 32-bit @933MHz LPDDR3 memory controller supports 14.9GB/s b/w. On other hand the high-ending of this lineup 620 with Octa Core specification with 4x Cortex A53 @1.2GHz and 4x Cortex A72 @1.8GHz  supports 4K encoding and decoding at 30fps and full HD at 120fps.

All three processor in this lineup features Octa Core with bit different clocking speed.The high ending Snapdragon 430 in this lineup has Next-Gen. Adreno 505 GPU updated with X6 LTE Cat.4 supports 150Mbps DL (Downloading) and 50Mbps UL (Uploading) .
